D.O.K. ~ Depth of Knowledge Questions
Please continue to stress the importance of HOW we ask D.O.K. Level 2-3 questions of our students throughout the week. While our weekly Reading Wonders assessments do a GREAT job of asking these kinds of questions, many of our students still need for our teachers to be teaching what those questions are looking for through excellent role modeling and thinking out loud! We can be asking D.O.K. Level 2 - 3 kinds of questions of our kiddos daily- in all subjects…. no matter what grade...can and should be seeking these kinds of questions with great frequency. ~S.
